All those bags of clothes in Lily's closest will actually go to use!:)) I was surprised that Brady was excited as well! He says he likes girls. I always imagined living in a house with a porch swing and a garden:) Well, we still live in a dirt Field but for Christmas my mom bought me a porch swing! I was so excited! So a few days ago Brady and I spent the day trying to figure out how to put it up....we did it, and we love it!! I've just got to get cracking on that garden!

Isn't it cute!! Um......no way! but it does get great gas millage and it has a ton of space in the back so it's perfect for what we do:)) Practicality:) I always said I never wanted to drive a mini van so this is what I get! We're excited though and ours is actually black so it looks more like a hurse...even better:)

Ohh.... we also need the extra space because baby number 2 is on its way!

October Review!!!

My baby turned 2 on October 11th!! Doesn't time just fly by??......way too fast! October was a busy month for us first because we had lily's birthday, not that we did anything too crazy, but also because it was Homecoming season!!! Which is always fun and full of work!!! But we survived or I should say, Brady survived:)) and I'm glad to have him back:) After all his hard work, we escaped to Turks and Caicos for a few days with Ben and Lynn:)) What an amazing trip!! I've never seen so many beautiful beaches that are completely empty. I got to just lay in the sand and roll around, it couldn't have been a more perfect, relaxing trip especially since Ben and Lynn planned it, navigated all the roads, and drove (on the opposite side of the road). Brady and I just got to sit back and relax:)) and we had our own personal photographer:)) Lynn took plenty of pictures since we didn't have our camera....that worked out pretty nicely I think:)) My sister Kristell watched Lily for me except for the last day we were gone my sister in law Sara had her and she did a little photo shoot with her!!!! I am soooo excited!!! Sara always takes such amazing pictures and I didn't even have to do anything....like her hair, clothes, and spend hours clapping over my head saying smile:)) smile:))!! Sooooo THANK YOU SARA!!!! and Lynn and Ben for our Perfect Trip!!!

About a week or so ago Brady and I put in a row of sprinklers and planted 8 fruit trees!! It was a sweaty job but we did it!! The only problem is that after all our hard work; we kept seeing little squirrels running off with the few pieces of fruit we had growing:( We feel bad killing the little fruit stealer's but something had to be done. I was gone all day a few days back and when I came home I took Lily outside to run around, and I about screamed when I saw some creepy man sitting by our fruit trees scaring away the squirrels!! Brady made a very creative creation while I was away. So far, it's working great! No more squirrel fruit theft!!:) (and yes, that's a CD dangling from the old man's hand:)

Yummy Yum!! This is the coolest machine!! It tempers chocolate so you can make your own, homemade chocolate, perfect chocolate dipped strawberries, pretzels, apples, pears, candie canes, potatoe chips or whatever!! I'm trying to earn it!!! I have my four chocolate parties booked this month and I need four for next month and it's mine!! Yes!! Hot Summer!!!

Wow it's hot!!! Lots of fun things this summer! A few weeks ago Brady, Lily & I just jumped in the car and drove up the coast. It was beautiful! We stayed in Carmel which was like a little dream town right on the ocean....loved it!! Then we decided that we would keep on going so we went up to San Francisco!! A very busy and exciting city!! We had such a fun trip. We were sitting in a little diner in San Francisco when we heard the sad news about Michael Jackson:( What a bummer:(
A little while after that trip we went and stayed with my whole family at a beach house for a week and had a blast!!! Now we are back home and trying to get back to work!! I can't say I'm a huge fan of the heat so now that we've had a lot of fun I'm already ready for fall to come again so I can put up our Halloween decorations!!! Hope all is well and thank you for visiting!!!!!

When we moved into our new house it was missing a few things (stove, Oven, Medicine Cabinets, Lights and their baffels, door stoppers, door knobs, garage door opener, a yard, and a few other things). So graudualy we are replaceing these missing items. The good thing is that we would have never appreciated these little necessitys if they hadn't been missing and each time we are able to replace something we are that much more excited about it!! I never thought I would jump up and down for door knobs but it happened:) That was something small, the last few days we've been working really hard on our front yard and I am sooooo excited!! Grass never looked so good:) Here are a few pictures of our progress as well as an update on Lily's teeth! We were a little worried when she turned one and still had no sign of any teeth! Finally one poked through on the bottom and four molars came through in the back so the big ones came first! We still had no sign of any on the top until now! We've got one top tooth!!! and a spike on the side!! We love Lily, she is always cracking us up!!! Thank you all for visiting!!

I've been missing in action but I want to thank any of you that still came to visit!:) It has been so busy which is probably every ones situation so that's not a good excuse but I'll still use it:) Christmas time was awesome as usual!! On Christmas eve we were driving to my parents house and Brady and I saw the most Beautiful House that had a huge garage in the back and we thought "Wow!!! What a cool house!! Who ever gets that is a lucky duck!" Well, some how, with much, much help, We were able to buy it!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!!!!! We are soooo excited!! We loved the house we were in but for the last year we've been renting a warehouse for our business and with this new house we don't have to rent the warehouse so magically we are saving money by moving in!! What a wonderful World!! So that it what we've been up to:) There is a whole lot more to the story and getting into the house was a roller coasting nightmare but we all did it! We are very blessed. One other thing I am so so so excited about is that I am a Chocolatier!! Dove Chocolates just started a brand new company where we go out and do chocolate tasting parties!!! (enough said:) I'm signed up under number 4 in California so it is very brand new and I'm so glad I found it!! Let me know if you want chocolate or candles!!! Well, this last weekend I took a trip with the fam to Arizona so I decided to bring Twilight along since everyone besides me has read it and.........Oh My Goodness!! Loved it!!! I went to AZ to visit family but unfortunately I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time with everyone because I was too busy hanging out with Edward and Bella:) WOW!! I'm so excited to read the rest!! There is a bummer though:( When I came home, I couldn't wait to see the movie! So the very next day I went with two good friends of mine. We saw the 5:30 showing and just waiting until then felt like I waited a whole week!! My anticipation was smushed by the whole movie! Not to be Miss. negative but my husband looks and acts more like a vampire then movie Edward did. I kept thinking Edward was going to cry through the whole movie!! Anyways, it was alright- I'll give it a 1 and I'll give the book a 100!!

Lily has turned one. It was actually last week on October 11th- We took Lily to Hometown buffet for breakfast, then to her Grandma and Grandpa's house to go in a small jumper, then to the pumpkin patch, and then back to Grandma and Grandpa's for buffalo burgers and cake. The best part of the day was when we gave Lily her own birthday cake and she ate the whole thing!!! and fast!!! Right hand, left hand, then both hands smashing into her face as fast as she could!! I've never seen anything like it!! We had to take it away from her because we were worried she'd get sick! I got some pictures of it but not with me so I'll get um up. On Sunday, we had cake again with all of Brady's side of the fam. It was such a good, and fun weekend!! I can't believe that it has already been a year since we brought her home. She was so tiny and now she is getting her first tooth (we are actually a little relieved), and she has also started walking! Time goes by too fast!

6 Quarks about me............ if you read my tag awhile back you might notice some repeats so I apologize for not being able to think hard enough:)

1. Just to get the repeats over with......I sleep in the bath tub often, I can't resist a snickers bar, and I usually only brush once a day (my teeth and my hair:). It was embarrassing enough the first time I announced that but what the hay......encase you missed it the first time!

For 4, 5, & 6.............

4. When no is watching I put on head phones and dance like a mad woman!

5. I analyze like no other!!! When the day is over, I can't just lay down peacefully. I have to think about everything I said to everyone and what I think they might have thought and if they are still thinking about it or if maybe I offended them............my brain wont just give me a break!! (Some good advice I heard from Dr. Phil that actually did help is "if we knew how little people actually thought about us, we wouldn't worry about it. Most people are thinking about what they said, not what others said." That did give me some peace:)

6. Soda for some reason burns the sin out of my mouth!!! Don't know why but I believe that it's a blessing, otherwise that might be all I would drink:)

Every year my parents take a trip to the beach and all of us kids just love to stop in and stay. I don't think they mind:_?? But we love it!!! The highlight of the trip has been the Prop 8 discussion - which took an hour or so but luckily I think everyone is still speaking. Not everyone agrees on the same thing and everyone feels super strongly about which way they are voting so I have to say it was pretty heated but we all love each other no matter what we believe so it just came down to agreeing to disagree:) It is so interesting to me how people can feel so differently about something when we are all pretty alike. Or how each person totally feels that they are totally right and the other isn't. How does that work? I da know:) Anyways, it's been fun on my parents vacation!!

The last few times Lily and I have gone to the grocery store, she has loved to prop her arm up on the basket and just chill:) I don't know about you but I think it is so funny! People always laugh and Lily just stares right back at them and keeps a perfectly straight face. I love it!!!

I'm hoping it looks better then it does in the picture!! It was actually about a month ago but I had to post something!!:) Everything is going great!!! Lily is getting bigger by the day and she is such a blast!! Already crawling and already took a digger down the stairs:( I felt like the worst mother in the world- we both recovered:) Summer has been so much fun!! We've spent lots of time with our familys, Brady took a trip to Guatemala again, and a lot of days have been spent in the pool- doesn't get better then that. Now that things are slowing down again and hopefully business picks up again, I'll be back in the office so I 'm hoping to get more posts up. Thank you everyone who has come to check in on us!!!!

I love hearing love stories especially real ones! I don’t know how interesting mine is but I’ll share it anyways since Brady and I have made it to our 4 year anniversary!! There’s a good chance we’ll keep on going!! It all started when I was fourteen sitting at our youth conference fast and testimony meeting. I’m not sure why but I had already made up my mind that I was never going to be able to get a boy (especially a cute one!) to date me. In the middle of my thoughts, I looked up and saw the cutest boy with the biggest, hugest dimples bearing his testimony. I thought “Why can’t I get a guy like that??”. (Those testimony meetings really are being listened to!) So two more years go by, and as predicted; no boys. I decided to go to the youth dance, which I loved to do! So it’s Saturday night, I’m at the dance, and who do I see?? That cute boy with the dimples I had wished for two years before! Somehow, I mustered up enough courage to ask him to dance which is a big thing for me since I hadn’t had too much luck with the cute boys in the past. I tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around. I said “do you want to dance with me?”. He said “Yeah! I was actually on my way over to ask you!”. SCORE!!!! Who would of thought this hottie would want to dance with me? Brady was known to be a bit of a player so maybe that was just a line but who cares, it worked for me!!

Luckily our good friend Richy Booth planned a surprise breakfast for Brady which went perfectly!!! We are still eating left over waffles:) In the afternoon the boys played some football in the hot sun as you can see on Brady's face. Later, Brady, Lily and I took a trip out to Palm Springs and walked the strip! It was awesome!! We put Lily in a front facing stroller for the first time and she loved it!!! and it was 90 degrees out side so no worrying about her pulling her socks off or dropping a blanket:) We came home and more friends came over for some cake and that was Brady's birthday!! I was excited to take pictures for this blog entry all week but I didn't remember the camera until the end:( ......but here's is what I got!!

It's been awhile since I've blogged so I thought I'd better check in!! It's actually 6:00 in the morning right now and if any of you know our family that's a rare time to be awake. This is like the middle of the night for us!! Brady and a few friends took off at about 4:00am to Mexico.....:( for a quick two day vacation and Lily and I are going to hang out at home! I think the reason I'm still awake is because last night for dinner I tried to make some thing special with steak, soy sauce, and spicy seasoning. I was so excited for Brady to be so impressed with my cooking but when we went to eat, it tasted like it had about 3 cups of salt in it. We ate it anyway and now I've got an annoying head ache, not the kind where I can't function, just the kind that wont let me sleep. To top it off I've felt a little stressed about my husband going to Mexico when I think there are some warnings not to go there and for some random reason I just received a text message that said some gang is out tonight and they are bumping into cars and when you get out they shoot you- pass it on. Oh, it's getting light out side now. It wouldn't be so bad to not be sleeping but it is when you know your baby is going to wake up in a few hours and isn't going back to sleep:( I sort of wish she was awake now so then at least I'd have some one to hang out with and I wouldn't have to worry alone:) I'm sure all will be fine. I worry too much. I think it's going kill me eventually! So anyways, these are my thoughts:) Have a good morning!

6. 5 jobs that I have had: I've had some doosers! - Shirt iron er ($1.00 per shirt.. Watch out!!), Hot Dog On a Stick but only for 3 hours, Hostess, Buss Boy (how do you go from hostess to buss boy in the same restaurant?? I da know:), Dental Assistant, and Props Roadee & Secretary!!
7. 3 of my BAD habits: oh man...there's a couple. Snickers bars for one, I leave trash in my car, & often times I only brush my teeth once a day (I can't believe I'm going to post that:(),
8. 5 Random Things people don't know about me: I'm pretty open so this is a tough one but some people probably don't know that......
-my two front teeth are made of porcelain- maybe cause I brush only once a day:) They were really little teeth

The Best Thing!!!

I've had a few people ask me about these so I thought I would share with the world!! This idea and recipe came from my mom which seriously is brilliant!! If any of you are like me, I often through out the day have sudden urges of starvation and I need a snack immediately!!!! Which often times is filled with fast, junky junk food:( Well, these waffles are not only fast (after they're made:), they are super tasty, stomach filling, and healthy!! Also they're fun because you can throw in any of your favorite dried fruits, nuts, or berries!!!! So I hope you're pumped because these really are worth taking a jab at!!

Huge Healthy Waffles
1 cup wheat flour
2 cups of rolled oats
1/4 cup of sugar in the raw
2 tsp. of baking powder
1 tbl. of Cinnamon (or more if you like)
4 egg whites (1 cup)
1 1/3 cup of milk
1/2 cup of olive oil
Bird seeds (at least that's what I like to call it! I won't pretend to know what all these things are, it's just in my mom's recipe and she seems to be a pretty healthy lady to me so just go with it!:)
(you will mix all these seeds together)
-whole poppy seeds
-sesame seeds
-raw pumpkin seeds
-quinoa
-hulled millet (barley)
-raw sunflower seeds

Now for the making!!
I have a coffee seed grinder (no I don't drink coffee:) but it works perfect for this first part. Grind 1 1/2 tbl. spoons of bird seed mixture. Pour mixture into the milk and let soak. Mix all of the other ingredients together (besides bird seed mixture and milk of course). Now for the fun part!!!! Throw in what ever you like and as much as you like!! Here are some of my favorites!! Dried cranberries, honey almonds, pecan pieces, dried wild blueberries, dried strawberries, raspberry sour raisins!! Just go to a fruit stand and pick out what you like!! Lastly, add in the milk and seed mixture, mix all together and cook in a waffle iron! That's it!! Keep Reading:)

It makes a few so take what you don't eat, put them in a zip lock bag and throw them in the freezer. There ya go!! A quick, easy, snack to grab out of the freezer when you have those sudden urges of starvation:)

Brady has been getting a little low on clothes so we took a family outing to Mervyns. Usually stores provide some sort cart that accommodates car seats; Mervyn’s carts are off to a good start but they still need to do a bit of work. We had to keep Lily buckled in real tight so she wouldn't fly out the front if we were to hit any cracks!! It's all good though- I think she liked being able to see everything at a straight up view! I also wanted to throw an updated picture of Lily and her cousin Kobie:)

Christmas is so much fun!!! Lily sat with Santa for the first time! She was pretty much asleep but she did it! Can you guess who Santa is???(......it's her daddy:) That made the picture even better!! Also I was able to spend some time with my brother Brett, his wife, & two adorable girls, one of which is only 9 days younger then Lily!! I loved it!:)

I've been looking at everyone’s blogs and I like reading what everyone has to say about what is going on in their lives and minds:) and I like seeing everyone’s hobbies!! My life right now consist of watching Lily grow (literally- 90th for weight & 95th for height!) and not sleeping more than 6 hours at a time (which is pretty good) and trying my best to keep up with brady, laundry, dinner, clean toilets, bills, and business. Life seems to just get busier and busier and more and more expensive!! How does everyone keep up and still stay sane?? I honestly have to not think about reality or I freak myself out! Does anyone else feel this way?? I can't complain though- I have the sweetest little baby girl who makes me smile every time I see her, a husband who works hard and keeps me laughing, tons of awesome friends and family, and I love living in Beaumont!!!! It is so pretty right now! So life is good. A bit overwhelming at times but I don't think I'd change a thing:)... (except for bills:) Happy Holidays!!! oh......the picture of the dog reminds me of me sometimes- See ya!!

There are a bunch of events that I'm so excited to show off!! I'm sad to see that I'm not the best picture taker so there is a lot of red eye but I'm working on my skills!:) We have Lily's blessing and party afterwards!! ( I had no idea how huge our family was until we were all in the same room......crazy and fun!!) I also have some pics of Thanksgiving and some pictures that I caught of Lily smiling:)- my favorite! Isn't October so much fun!!!! Baby is almost here!! I hope....:)
I have noticed that anytime I think something (example: "Oh.. I'll have my baby early"), the opposite happens. I must need to be humbled although I'm not quit to my due date yet. But I don't feel much of anything out of the ordinary going on inside. I do pee like every 10 minutes which is more frequent then what it use to be which was every 15 minutes, so I must be making progress. I can't wait to have the baby, mostly so I can have some new pictures to put on my blogg. I hope that all who read are doing well and I'll keep you posted on any baby news!!...... with a picture!

Alright, I've been missing in blogging for a week. I'm so happy that people are actually checking it- Thanks!! Brady has been in Guatemala for a week now and I have been hanging out with my parents pretending like I never got married, although it's tuff with my belly sticking out:) I have some important pictures to post so I'll be sure to get those up as soon as I'm back home in my married life! I hope that all those who read are doing well and thanks for encouraging my wanna be blogging addiction!!

Hawaii

Welp! Lynn was nice enough to make me a new blogging addict!! I'm so excited! Our trip to Hawaii has so far been awesome! The only bad part has been Brady losing control of the right side of his face:( Luckily, we're staying with the newly doctor Ben so we're slowly getting movement back- I hope! I thought at first that bells palsy was permanent so I was a little freaked out for Brady ( and for me:) but fortunately, it's not:) All is well!!! 8 more weeks until baby is here!!!
